The Yard offers affordable studio spaces for artists based in Winchester and the wider Hampshire area. If you are a contemporary fine artist interested in applying for a studio space at The Yard, please get in touch and we will send you an application form.

When a studio space becomes available, we will arrange an informal meeting with you to get to know you and your work. If our studios are currently occupied, we'll add you to our waiting list and contact you as soon as a space becomes availability.

The Yard is a collective run by its resident artist. Each artist contributes a bit of their time and experience to manage the space and support the development of our artist community, sometimes as simple as getting the studio ready for Hampshire Open Studios. As part of this, members are asked to commit a small amount of time to share responsibilities.
