The Yard provides ten affordable studio spaces for contemporary artists living and working in Winchester and the wider Hampshire region.

Shortlisted applicants will then be invited to an informal interview, giving us a chance to learn more about you, you're practice, and how you might fit within our community.

How We Run the Studios
The Yard operates as a collaborative, artist-led space. Every resident artist plays a small part in keeping the studios running smoothly in a creative environment. Contributions include preparing the space for Open Studios, and another simple organisational tasks. By joining The Yard, artists agree to share in these responsibilities through a light and manageable time commitment, ensuring the studios remain a vibrant place for everyone.
